VL10 electric engine [scratch built]

VL10 electric locomotive.

VL10 (Vladimir Lenin, 10th modification) electric dual section locomotive even nowadays forms the backbone of goods transporters through the entire post Soviet space. Theese locomotives were built by the Tbilisi locomotive plant in Georgia and Novocherkassk in Russia during the Sovier era.

Different modifications existed, as the locomotive slightly changed its looks throughout the time.

A VL10 pulling a 50 cars long goods train fromVyborg to St.Petersburg. Note the Tbilisi locomotive plant logo on the front.

VL10 moving from St.Petersburg. Note the red star in front of the Novocherkassk built units.

This model of a VL10 is scratch built by me. Both sections are powered.

VL10 sidetracked on my H0 layout next to a M62 and a DR1A.
