Kiev - Beresteyska

 We start our journey at Beresteyska metro station and then walk towards tram stop on the other side of Prospekt Peremohy (Victory Lane) street.

Мы начнем наше путешествие с выхода станции метро Берестейская, а затем идем пешком в сторону трамвайной остановки на другой стороне проспекта Победы.

A stange sidetrack from the tramline goes downhill. This tramline track ends just before a big tree. 

Странный боковой путь от трамвайной линии идет вниз. Этот трамвайный путь заканчивается как раз перед большим деревом.

However, after we follow the track, just behind the tree a railroad track starts. Although the tram and the train line are not connected due to the tree just between them, they are perfectly aligned which might suggest it used to be a tram/railroad connection.

Тем не менее, после того, как путь обрывается, сразу за деревом, начинается железнодорожный путь. Хотя трамвайный и зележнодорожный путь не соединяются из-за дерева между ними, их оси находятся на том-же уровне. Можно предложить это когда-то был трамвайно / железнодорожный гейт.

We follow the single line track for a few hundred meters. Other tracks from surrounding industry areas are starting to appear.

Мы следуем вдоль пути нескольких сотен метров. Начинают присоединятся другие подьездные пути из промышленной зоны.


Even further the track connects to an old goodsyard. The three most right tracks are electified.

Еще дальше путь подходит к старой грузовой станции. Три наиболее правых пути - электрифицированы.

As we walk along the goods station the tracks on the left disappear into the industrial area, these are used as supply lines for different factories.

Пока мы идем вдоль товарной станции пути слева исчезают в промышленной зоне, они используются для снабжения для различных заводов.

We follow the electrified line. Although the tracks look like they have been recently used no rolling stock is present anywhere.

Мы следуем вдоль электрифицированной линия . Хотя рельсы выглядят накатано, вагонов нигде не видно.



Without any warning an uncovered hole suddenly appears.

Без какого-либо предупреждения вдоль пути появляется открытая дыра.

On the left side of the tracks all kind of old factories start to emerge. Most of them look desolated.

Another hole disappears deep in the ground. A metal ladder is present. again, no warning or lid on this one.

 Typical concrete soviet fence on the left on the tracks.

Типичный советский бетооный забор слева.


On the right side the main line comes closer. Area between the two lines looks desolated.

С правой стороны магистральная линяя подходит ближе. Между двумя линиями заброшеное поле.

Finally the goods line we have followed (on the right) joins the mainline (on the left).

Наконец грузовая линия вдоль которой мы следовали (справа) присоединяется к магистральным путям (слева ).

Behind the garages there are some improvised doghouses and a man is feeding homeless dogs.

За гаражами кто-то кормит бездомных собак.

The street crossing the train line has a fast-tram stop on it. We take the tram to return to the city center.
